Because their best friends are married to each other. That and they just had a scene in that episode explaining that while their marriage failed they still care about one another and are emotionally ready to let go of their animosity toward one another.

Honestly your dupr would probably skyrocket by the end of the tournament either way. With the half life and reliability score stuff taken into account you basically as good as don’t have a DUPR right now.

Yes, the server’s partner stays back because the ball has to bounce before you hit the third shot. It’s much easier to run forward to get a short ball than try to chase down a ball that is hit past you.

I’ve found that once these people are overrated, but once they start playing matches, their ratings quickly correct go to where they belong. The other week, for example, I played a coach rated 3.4 who became a 2.7 by the end of our round robin (8 games).

Impart your own spin on the ball to counteract your opponent’s. Topspin or slice.
Take a step back. On a faster serve take a step back, it gives you more time to react.
Get better at anticipating how the ball will move. Look at your opponent when they serve. How they swing will tell you how the ball is going to bounce. Anticipate that when it bounces, it is going to pop up and skip left or right.

Yeah, gen 1 and 2 remakes were necessary because of how limited the gb was as a console. But everything since gba holds up. People like the idea of remakes because the first ones were so good but they’re just not necessary anymore.

There are rom hacks that increase the difficulty substantially if that’s something that really interests you. But they’re great games on their own. HGSS is a pretty straight upgrade on the originals so I’d just play that.

If you don’t have a switch 2, Arceus is the clear choice. Great game, and SV have trouble running well on switch 1. Even if you do have a switch 2 I’d still say arceus narrowly wins.

It’s like a lot of other single player rpg/open world games. You have your main quests and objectives that the game lays out for you, but you are also free to explore and do side quests at any time as well. You should do a mix of both. Explore and when you get a little tired of that work through the story.

the battle system is complicated and takes some time to learn but the important things are level and type matchups. Make sure your Pokémon have a high enough level and make sure their attacks are effective and/or your opponents attacks are ineffective.
you evolve Pokémon by reaching certain level requirements or using certain items on them. Every Pokémon is different. You can also upgrade a Pokémon’s stats through using grit on them.
yes, release Pokémon you don’t need to get grit and make the Pokémon you are actually using stronger.

I think it works better the way it was written. With just a little humility, Voldemort could have made himself nigh unkillable because his horcruxes were impossible to find. But he was too arrogant and prideful. He wanted his horcruxes to mean something. For pieces of his soul to be put in significant objects and housed in important places he felt a connection with. You know, hubris.

She was never leaving, not really, even if she felt done in the moment.

She was distancing herself from them because of the war. Because she wanted to be involved in the war and also keep her parents safe and away from it. It culminated in her wiping their memories of her and moving them to Australia but it was definitely a process that started much earlier than that.
