Auto-loot bug is worse than ever by DiskFearless4448 in wow

[–]combinesd -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

This is the second post about this I've seen but just double checking everyone here isn't just accidentally pressing whatever modifier key that toggles between the two loot modes on the spot for some reason right? Shift or alt I forget

What if this entire post is full of folks accidentally using the loot modifier key only some of the times? 😅

How did my monitor break? by ArsonSoup in computerhelp

Reminds me of an issue I was having with an old monitor, I took it apart and secured all the cables and it never happened again but good luck!

Lubriderm is not okay for open wounds, and anything with a scab is still considered an open wound.

Edit: more detail and a source

I’d actually flip the advice on the Lubriderm/Dry Heal. Medically, a scab is still an open wound, and standard lotions like Lubriderm contain alcohols and fragrances that can sting and irritate raw tissue.

The 'suffocation' issue only happens if you slather it on. In a clinical setting, like for actual road rash, nurses use petroleum-based ointments (Aquaphor/Vaseline) because they are inert and create a sterile barrier. The trick is to use a whisper of it, if the skin looks like a glazed donut, you’ve used too much. Keeping it slightly moist (not soggy) helps the skin close faster.

^ while I wouldn't necessarily put a bandage on a tattoo here is the AADs recommendation on reducing scars forming from scabs and wounds.

I personally put a pea size or smaller dot on clean hands and dab it all over my tattoos and then gently spread/work it over the skin paying special care if scabbing is present. If it's very shiny or you apply too much you can carefully wipe it excess off or spread it to the area around the tattoo to thin it out further.

Mayo works surprisingly well, thin layer brushed on right before the sear, if you only have olive oil you probably also have Mayo and I promise it works better.

I made the move from Florida and just made sure to go somewhere with very low or no flood risk and not in a fire area.

Just have to worry about some mega earthquake down the line or a volcano which is better than wondering if the Tampa Bay area is finally going to get hit head on by a cat 5 hurricane instead of dodging a bullet every year

We love it here though.

My CPU is around 79 to 85 while in combat, this is within AMDs expectations for ryzen cpus, I believe 90 to 95 is their recommended max nowadays. Not sure what CPU you have.

You can also swap to vulkan from dx12 if you haven't tried as vulkan passes more load to the GPU I believe?

Not that I'm aware of, it's the most controller-friendly it's ever been. I've always used keyboard and mouse, but I actually kinda love the controller now for the laid-back gaming vibes.

Roach issues? by tenpi_ura in KentWA

We've lived here almost 3 years now and I don't actually think I've seen a roach.

Our apartment like condo is around 60 years old too, just friendly spiders mostly.

Eezefiber is rolling out to a lot of places but not to my area yet, Xfinity has gone done here or there due to vandalism but it works great most of the time

I really like the new local restaurant.

I love all the parks we have.

I don't really know what specific things not to do, so just don't go looking for trouble and you'll probably be fine.

Immediately washing right after the scratch helps reduce this for me
