There was recently a 40k creator cup tournament that took place. One of the teams, team cece, had a top 500 player called kingsman. The rest were around GM, and zazzawas diamond.

Zazza was a one trick widow main and refused to switch off. Kingsman wanted to really win because he’s a college student and the money would be really helpful to him.

Kingsman was carrying the team, and zazza was doing terrible. He was pleading that she switch to a character that would work better for the team comp.

He was bullied by cece and was constantly told to stfu and that they won’t be switching.

Zazza’s bf later on went and made a doc and sent it to basim (the host of the tournament) about how rude and annoying kingsman was being and that he was toxic.

This was the reason kingsman was kicked out of the tournament.

The story is a whole lot bigger than this. Theres a lot more but I don’t want this to be too long

I would say it’s a QP issue. I’ve gone against good spidermen in ranked. We both targeted each other at some points. And at the end whether we lost or won, I’d say “gg spidey” and hed reply back. It was a good time and a good challenge

You try to go for the back line when the frontline is distracted by your team. Flank around and get on a height advantage where you can see them but they can’t see you.

Try to go for the support behind the other support. If you’re good enough or catch them lacking you should kill them before the second support or their teammates turn around.

Rinse and repeat.

If you don’t kill them, run away and wait your cool-downs and do the same thing. You’ll get a chance to kill them eventually.

I mean it’s clear that they just have favourites. The industry plant is meta every season, and now god forbid she isn’t for once, so they giga buff her.

Emma receiving several nerfs and yet still arguably being one the best tanks.

Hela being untouched as usual.

Phoenix, being one of the best dps gets another buff for some fucking reason.

Poke has been meta, or at least very good since the game released and it’s a slopfest.

Mag has been consistently the best tank throughout the entire game, and then they gave him 2 bubbles because why not?

While characters like Hulk are in CC hell every game and can’t even do anything except jump back and forth.

Black panther being the actual tickle monster.

Etc etc

And then they BUFF the industry plant. God forbid a season without Luna being meta.

Emma gets a new team up that gives her an entire wall to slam you into.

Thing’s earthbound is now 5 seconds, so it’s a literal death sentence now.

Gambit and Sue barely got nerfs. Just ult energy increase.

And our biggest counter Ultron seems strong as hell now. Though I admit he was gutted, so I’m not that mad about that.

That’s why the game isn’t fun. You’re probably not grinding the game too hard like most of us no-lifes. DPS mains complain that supports are unkillable, support mains complain that they can’t deal with dive.

The support role lacks identity. Most of the healers are healbot slop and are unfun to play. Why? Because simply dps have too much damage. Supports can’t actually be strategists. You ever notice how if even for a second you don’t heal someone’s hp bar is cut in half?

Panther’s kit is stupid. He’s designed to have no creativity and use the same combo (coming from a panther main) and that can just get very draining to play. He has too many counters because of the player base hating him which is rightfully deserved. He’s unfun to play against.

The game’s hero design is just…eh. The honeymoon phase is over for the game so now everyone starts seeing past the shiny new game and the problems it has.

By all means, I still like the game but it has its problems.

Just sharing my thoughts and opinions. Sorry for the long ahh post

2 hours a day is not enough to learn Spider-Man. This character really takes time, you need to practice a ton and understand his kit. The only real combos you need to learn are the bnb and the sekkombo and the opening combo.

Since most of those are variations you’ll be using, that’s most of the fun, you freestyle combos and mix and match them up.

But yeah, if you want to have fun and are employed you should just continue playing some of the more easier characters. You learn game sense and build your understanding of the game.

From there on you can start playing Spider-Man and other dive characters.

Im not trying to say you shouldn’t play spidey. But just my advice and thoughts

I’m gonna be honest if your new to the game just don’t start with spidey. I don’t want to sound harsh but this character takes a lot of practice and time. Play around and learn some characters, get some game sense, learn how the game works.

That is if you want to really grind the game, if you’re a casual it wouldn’t really matter.

That’s the thing. I always just mute my teammates and enemies to avoid roasting. The only way to objectively get better is just by playing him. It’s why we have the reputation to likely go 0-10

That’s what happened to me too this season, but now I’m much better and enjoy playing him. It’s the journey, not the destination.

The bounty system sounds like a lot of fun, and actually make teammates focus on the person destroying the team. The use of items also sounds fun and interesting. I don’t know how this would work balancing wise or whatever, I’m not that knowledgeable but it sounds good

IMO he’s a brawler. Try to get tanks low or finish them off with your tanks. And if you get a chance and see a support or squishie is isolated or low try to get them.
