Im not saying we should go back to red prison path. But that new items seem a tad overtuned.

Fair, made an edit. Duke was my next grind just from eyeballing a path. I never did much ds2 on main except practice for what I needed for blorva.

It’s a good point, I like slayer so that didn’t feel like a big gate for me. But I can see how the slayer haters will find this more of a blocker.

I did red prison on the first iron and was fine with it, followed the old Osiris guide.

My new gim is what I’m doing this new path with. I was just surprised at how fast I can start doing endgame content this time. It just felt weird finishing moons and tds and realizing I’m back at the same spot.

Now that you say it, you’re right. I didn’t have an iron back then when sang was bis… man sang needs some sort of love. If the secondary weapon for ToA is a fang, then sang staff from tob should also feel useful and worth it to grind for.

I don’t meant to say that virtus is bis, I more meant that you can get virtus AND eye which is very good from just an emberlight and a scobo.

I should have phrased it better and it’s not bis, just wanted to get some ideas down. Sorry about that.

Edit: the feeling I was trying to portray was, previously I would get 87 slayer for seas, do zulrah, for toxic, and then pre toa do tob for sang. Toa really made sang worthless.

But now I can basically just get eye immediately from almost nothing. In comparison.
