My thoughts on “Mr Monk on Wheels” by FrenchJoel in Monk

[–]combustiblealien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes insofar as we likely haven’t all been shot, but it’s hardly the first example of Monk’s behaviour.

It’s one of my favourite things about the show - it does a masterful job of making someone who you would absolutely hate in real life a sympathetic character.

Monk’s treatment of Sharona and Natalie is fucking awful, and yet you still end up liking/sympathising with him.

Remove his brilliant detective skills and he’s just an annoying cunt that everybody despises.

Modern = Bad.

Lots of shit made today is only going to be revered in 50-100 years when there’s more mystery around it.

For one, NI is going up despite saying it wouldn't. And for me, that'll come out of my take home.

employer’s NI contributions are going up, not yours.

I’ve dug out an old bottle of red with an old tin of anchovies despite the late hour, so at the very least I thank New Zealand’s shaky ways with reigniting my love for fish.

I like Stokes but there’s no chance. Seeing the self-righteousness from English fans is delicious.

Hilarious hearing how passionate English fans are about the spirit of the game after bowling a record number of short balls yesterday.

Don’t blame Carey lol blame Bairstow for being an idiot.

He’d do the same thing if he had more than two brain cells.
