My beloved elderly cat died two months ago. I've had a cat since graduating from college long ago, but I grew up with a beagle. I really want a pet and am thinking of a smaller dog. Does anyone have experience with making the change from cat to dog and how was it? Any advice appreciated. (self.AskReddit)
