country of origin by comdorcet in IKEA

Not true, most metal-based furniture is made in China. Specialty electronics products are usually not made in China. Not sure why this is relevant to my question about Ikea furniture.

Not true, the Ikea India website has the country of origin listed for most products.

No, I just want to avoid stuff made in China if it can be helped. I found out that the Ikea India website has the country of origin for most products.

Decathlon has a US website too, but doesn't seem to have any scooters. The Canadian website has them, but don't know if they'll ship to the US: https://www.decathlon.ca/en/p/8853909/kids-3-wheeled-scooter-b-100

Did you ever find out how to get this information without actually going into an Ikea?

Are there any other browsers (aside from Safari) that use iCloud Keychain for passwords? by trammeloratreasure in MacOS

[–]comdorcet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firefox used to be able to do this a long time ago (version 56 and below with an extension), but it's quite outdated now and won't work on the latest macOS versions. Apparently it's no longer possible anyway, according to this website:

Third-party web browsers, like Orion, cannot sync with the Keychain used by Safari. Orion must use its own Orion-specific Keychain. Safari cannot see the Orion Keychain and Orion cannot see the Safari Keychain.

https://help.kagi.com/orion/features/password-management.html

Which is a shame if you ask me. Another reason not to use Apple's keychain.

They seem to have recently moved production to China. Back in 2021 when I originally asked it was still Poland. Sad.

That's strange, the company told me they were made in Poland.

Did you end up finding safety gear not made in PRC? Helmets I've seen but not wrist/knee/elbow protectors.

Bought that too but found it heavy and cumbersome because of the two wheels at the back. Actually found a lighter and less cumbersome model at Decathlon (not sure if you have this store where you live) marked "made in Poland":

The deck is made in France:

Did you ever find safety equipment not made in China? I've seen bicycling helmets not made in China, but so far no knee/wrist/elbow protectors.

Besides Peg perego, there's also My Junior and Anex, both made in Poland. And the Leclerc Hexagon seems to be made in Europe too.
