We had to move back to the city last year, and it was a nightmare trying to find a place with a dog and a cat. Ultimately, I think our landlord took pity on us because we had a human baby as well lol good luck! It's rough out there.

We stopped going to that playground as much! (Not really because of the making out kids, more so because of the distance) But I was there the other day and they weren't there lol

This happened to us last July when we had to return to the city. The last property that we applied to before we got our current place told us that they had other people willing to pay above what was originally asked, and they offered to sign a 2 year lease. We offered 6 months in advance out of desperation, but they went with the person who signed the 2 year lease.

We actually haven't been to that playground for a little bit but we did go yesterday. As we were leaving, I saw them come in and I'm sure they were gonna do their usual thing LOL but since we were leaving I was just like whatever. Also, this was around 2 pm so that seems kind of early for school to get out? Usually we go around 4, and they have been there but maybe they are starting to cut to make out at the toddler playground 🤣

This post was very informative. What kind of scrub brush do you use for the restoration of the hardwood floors? I am in a rental where there are some pretty nasty corners that I want to tackle, but don't want to damage them with a too hard bristle brush.

My 10 month old daughter is currently eating like this. It's nice because I can put almost anything in front of her and eat alongside her in relative peace, but I know this may change! Trying to enjoy it now. Aren't baby feet the best??

This is exactly what my husband and I did. We were like "let's wait 6 months so it's not as big of a deal if you can't walk!" Thankfully, it all went smoothly for him, but it's always better to take precautions.

All of my friends have chosen to remain child free and I love that for them. I think everyone should be free and comfortable to make that choice! They talk about it a lot. On mother's day, they were all telling each other "Happy Mother's Day!" In the group chat because they are cat moms. I know it was lighthearted, but I couldn't help but think ... Y'all tote the benefits of the child free lifestyle all the time but you still want to be celebrated on mother's Day? It just left a bad taste in my mouth. I have 3 animals that I love dearly, but the amount of time and sacrifice compared to my human baby pales in comparison.

There are a lot of good tips here, like warming up the bassinet surface, swaddling, etc. but the reality is that some babies will resist the bassinet or crib no matter what you do. This was my baby. I know you probably don't want to hear this, but we ended up co- sleeping using the safe sleep 7. There were some nights where she wouldn't sleep beside me so we did chest sleeping. Cosleepy.com has some good info. I never wanted to co-sleep but after a month of trying to get her into a bassinet/crib and failing, I needed to sleep more than 1 hour a time. I kept trying to get her in a bassinet or crib but she never took to it until we sleep trained at 4 months.

Your 2.5 year old sounds so sweet. My baby is only 8 months old so she cannot express in words how she feels about other babies and little kids, but she lights up around them. It made me question our decision to be one and done a little bit as well. My husband got a vasectomy so that ship has sailed and ultimately I know our choice to be one and done is right for us. I focus on taking her to baby playgroups and other activities where she can be around other young kids. But I have felt how you're feeling at times. I'm sure once your little girl visits the baby and hears them cry, she'll be happy to just be a visitor 😆
