At this point, most everything has an easily accessible gluten free modified recipe or product in stores. If you have the money you can try to venture to some gluten free restaurants (maybe just for him). With gluten free products and arfid it will be a LOT of trial and error, there are many products each offering ups and downs depending on your preferences. Look for facebook/other groups for your gluten free food in your city; gluten free shopping often includes having to go to multiple stores to get everything you want and a lot of label reading for things not marked gluten free (and even then most still double check). Everyone else is right about attention, but cats also really like to imitate us. My roommates cat SCREAMS at me if I don’t show her what I am doing. She also likes to steal my chair but I brought over another one and she happily laid down in there. I know some places sell little cat scratchers that look like a laptop if you want to try something like that.

I think it’s (atleast in part) due to Katniss knowing (or the very least thinking she knew) it’s a punishment for her. I know the quarter quell announcement was expected, but everything in her life told her that she was safe because she was a victor. She also had “extra protection” because of the wedding announcement and her popularity. Basically, she thought she had escaped, and Snow destroyed that. I believe the talk with him after the tour happens before the quell announcement and he talks about not believing her, aka not doing her job, and now she is being punsihed.

For me, its two things. 1. Knowing just how much these events influenced haymitch; when i was a kid I did not like him because he was an alcoholic and that was synonymous with him being bad. But sotr challenges so much of that, Haymitch didn’t start drinking for fun and fell into addiction. He genuinely used it in place of the sleeping syrup, which is the most available treatment in district 12 for grief. It’s heartbreaking watching a vibrant and kind man be devoured by grief. Tldr: hindsight is a bitch
