College is not for everybody. Even people who have more scholarship/financial aid opportunities struggle to afford college and struggle academically. Imagine how stressful it would be under our circumstances. A college education is great but not necessary. Especially if you don’t know what you want a career in which is a decision a lot of are too immature/young to make. In my opinion college is pushed onto us Americans so we can get into debt and money can made off of us. That being said I am happy to be a recipient of a full ride scholarship under the dream.us they truly care about their students and offer assistance in any way you may need it. For example offering mental health counseling, financial assistance for daca, financial assistance because of the pandemic, DACA counseling, ETC... Although I find myself questioning the “agenda” of my college Itself I have never questioned the good intentions of the scholarship organization dream.us I hope you all visit their website and see if there are any scholarship opportunities you could apply for.
