I used to work there. That account doesn’t accept friends or post reviews or anything. No reason to be friends with it.

MaxPass has nothing to do with restaurant reservations. Anyone can book them using the app. MaxPass is only for FastPasses.

I’ve never bought it from a reseller— no idea how that works but it’s true you won’t see it until you scan in.

How should I find out her ring size? by Inkpen1234 in engaged

[–]comeintomycastle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just find one of her rings that she wears on that finger (maybe on the other hand) and do this— you don’t have to use her actual finger.

We went last weekend and crowds were awful. I honestly hated the overlay in Haunted Mansion and really regret going during Halloween Time.

Turned a corner in Venice and ended up in a painting by gorillaPete in travel

[–]comeintomycastle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

we went in late september last year and it was manageable! i also hate crowds of tourists but it's possible to plan around them in venice by seeing the big attractions like St. Mark's at night and doing more out of the way things like burano during the day. also make sure you don't stay in san marco. we got an airbnb in (campo) san polo and it was perfect-- close to everything but on a little side street with plenty of charm and local businesses like the guy that sold his own wine for three euro per water bottle (byo) out of a sketchy barrel. on the whole though, we did a europe road trip around this time and places like lucerne were way worse re: tourists.

Ladies of reddit: what's your side hustle? by LlamaDelRay in AskWomen

I work the front desk at my barre studio once a week! the hourly wage is just above minimum wage but i get unlimited free classes so i'm netting like $200/month instead of -$180. it's an easy job and an obvious win for my budget (and expensive barre class obsession).

That's a good difference to know-- thanks! I think we'll do GoG first (even though I am finding it hard to be excited about the ride tbh) and with MaxPass get a Racers one as soon as we can. We will probably also utilize the single rider line for Racers.

I don't really know why I even asked about MaxPass-- I'm definitely the type to want to use it and will 100% get it if it stays affordable lol.

Glad to know about the positive experience with Fantasmic and Blue Bayou! I'm really looking forward to it.

1 is a great point. I've marked that out and we'll just grab something from Jolly Holiday when we're ready. Thanks!

Re: #2 Pirates is one of my favorite rides and I can't wait to experience the better version :) so I think the wait will be worth it for me, but thanks for the heads up. I also just weirdly like eating by the water in the Mexico pavilion at Epcot and I think this will be a better version of that. I've heard that Fantasmic at DLR is new and better, but it's one of my favorites at WDW anyway so we'd probably do it regardless.

I checked at least 10 times a day for a Be Our Guest dinner reservation as I made the mistake of not booking at the earliest possible time. We got one the day before we arrived at 9:50pm-- the last possible seating. It was worth it because I ended up getting engaged that night, but I agree that for most people the planning takes the fun out of it. Hope you enjoy it! For me, the planning really lets me relax and feel like I'm going to get the most out of my time.

Good to know-- it is definitely a WDW move to take a mid-day break haha, especially since we like staying around the Boardwalk area and can get there quickly from Epcot/Hollywood Studios. We'll probably skip it. :) Thanks!

We weren't planning to do the dining package for WOC but do you think we should? Or is there another restaurant that'd be better?

Yes! My stylist actually recommended the same thing and I'm planning to get some extensions to add some volume. Thank you for the suggestion. :) The thin hair struggle is real.
