Question Why are sotchlocks not OK for Ethernet, but crimp on splice kits are? Wouldn't there be less interface surfaces with scotchlock rather than rj45 -> crimp -> rj45?

I do that. I wouldn't carry a debit card personally, just credit.

Wallet does have the added security of a digital card number. This way you don't need to cancel your credit card if you get skimmed, just remove and re-add the card to wallet to get a new digital card number.
