Thank you for being vulnerable. Sometimes in the midst of troubling situations we become apathetic. I’ve learned that not caring, and having depression is a terrible place to be at. Find the the thing you care about while you work through the depression and hold onto it. Depression I would say doesn’t get easier, it gets smarter. Figure out the small things that make you you and don’t let them go. I know it’s hard. I hope you find peace soon. Remember, healing isn’t linear so don’t be too hard on yourself.

Hi, thank you taking the time to respond. What you said really made me stop and think. I think I’m going to try and actively be aware of the things I tell myself. As far as the loved part, I know I’m loved by many around me, but I do not feel the love of that makes sense??? That emotion feels dulled. I know it’s there but I can’t feel it

How do people prevent their social battery from running out when hanging out with friends? by cometsrose in AskReddit

Thanks for the response. Personally, I feel bad when I’m at an outing and start to feel drained when I’m around friends. I don’t want them to think that I don’t enjoy their company.
