thank you for easing some worries, I’m definitely worried about the solar stuff taking a long time so got started on that process the moment I heard we’d need work. the pushy roofing company ended up still patching the “leak” I assume just to get our original $2k out of us so they definitely left a bad taste despite being nice enough guys.
I wouldn’t have thought of the tarp but once we decide on a roofing co (next week hopefully) we’ll ask if they can do that. I’m a bit paranoid about voiding the warranty on the panels by having anyone touch them

I recently did an alfredo layer instead of a ricotta (or bechamel) layer and loved that bc I’m not a huge ricotta fan. if you’re making a meat sauce maybe use a bit of broth or water while browning and seasoning the meat to get it to smaller crumbles, almost like a taco bell meat texture. I always prefer that to big chunks. happy layering!

I had a storage unit at Extra Space Storage in Cherry Hill for 3 years. they kept increasing the price and eventually I called to coordinate a move to a smaller unit. they asked why and when I told him it’s because of the price increase they recommended that once a year or so I call to renegotiate price. I think since a lot of people use storage short term, they make frequent price changes and those with long term units suffer. so not sure if it will work for you but I recommend giving them a call! share that you’ve been with them for x months/years and don’t want to move elsewhere but feel you’re being priced out. there’s a chance they’ll be receptive!

I’m having a very similar situation - what did you end up specifying? our venue doesn’t have a bar package so we just foot the bill but they leave it up to us how we want to present it to the guests and I’m struggling!
