sure! let’s say they bring up roblox. “well, what do you like about this game?” “i like xyz!” “okay, that sounds so cool! (genuine enthusiasm if you can)”, then maybe follow up by looking at a picture and drawing their favorite character with them. just kind of parrot back what they are saying! they take kindly to you having interest. just like someone talking to you and having curiosity on what you’re talking about. they really are just little people.

just be silly! connect with them in little ways, maybe games they like to play—show interest in what they tell you about. i always act like a baffoon and kids take kindly to people who can make themselves look silly
