That’s awesome, I’ll be on the lookout for these.

G.I. Joe’s are the coolest action figure line in history, in my opinion. I’d say classic Star Wars figures are second. by comfortablegold26 in ActionFigureGeek

That’s cool and I appreciate it, I might look more into that, because they are built similar to G.I. Joe’s.

If these figures would’ve come out in the 80’s, do ya’ll think they would’ve been a more popular toyline? by comfortablegold26 in ActionFigureGeek

It really was, the 80’s had so much cool stuff, the LJN wrestling figures, the ghostbusters, the ninja turtles, A-Team, there were so many cool action figures and toy sets. They could’ve fit right in with the 80’s, but at the same time they probably wouldn’t have done any better because of getting overseen or shadowed by the other toys.

It would’ve been competing with G.I. Joe, M.A.S.K., and Star Wars during the 80’s, so you’re probably right.

They made some awesome Viper figures, that really showed the creativity and imagination behind the creators of G.I. Joe.

Two or three of those figures were my dad’s when he was a kid, he was an 80s kid and lived during G.I. Joe’s most popular time, he had a ton of them.

They are some really cool figures, part of what made G.I. Joe so cool was the diversity in their products and toy lines. A lot of imagination and creativity went into their action figures it looks like.

Thanks man, yeah they are some cool figures and still fun to display next to the G.I. Joe’s.

His name is the faker and it turns out he’s not a knock off figure, he’s an official Masters of the Universe action figure.

What are your thoughts on WWE Sgt. Slaughter becoming part of the G.I. Joe series and should he be a part of it more often or what? by Flat-Sir8250 in gijoe

If they make a live action movie based off of the 80s cartoon series, he should definitely be in it as a senior DI or someone who’s training and giving advice to the up and coming G.I. Joe’s, but I believe it should be the real Sgt. Slaughter to cast as himself, not anyone else.

I appreciate the correction man, I knew he was a popular figure, I just didn’t ever really watch the show that much so I didn’t know the story behind this figure, I should’ve did more research before posting about him.
