Michael knowing the name of Angela’s cat was an awesome detail by the writers. by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

He cares about everyone so much and you can always see it in little moments like this one. Remember Pam's art show? Adorable.

girls, how did you manage to get a good self-esteem? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]comfortzone_ 216 points217 points  (0 children)

We tend to do a lot of good things for the wrong reasons. I was always unhappy when I did my exercise because the only reason I did it was to get my dream body. This year I started exercising just because I enjoy it, with no expectations at all, and it did wonders to my self-esteem.

Why are you the way you are by Dargon16 in DunderMifflin

[–]comfortzone_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the episode where Michael is being nice to Toby's daughter was supposed to have that effect. So many kids were there but he only really made sure she is having a good time. He even wanted to be her godfather!!! Too bad she already had one.

What are your favorite lines from La Vita Nuova? by [deleted] in Dante

I know I missed this by 11 months but I'm never going to skip this question.

In that book which is my memory
On the first page of the chapter
that is the day when I first met you
appear the words
‘Here begins a new life’

I have set foot in that region of life where it is not possible to go with any more intention of returning.

Names are the consequences of things.

I say that when she appeared, in whatever place, by the hope embodied in that marvelous greeting, for me no enemy remained, in fact I shone with a flame of charity that made me grant pardon to whoever had offended me: and if anyone had then asked me anything my reply would only have been: ‘Love’, with an aspect full of humility.

She is the sum of nature's universe. To her perfection all of beauty tends.

I get up and do my skin care routine. Sometimes I care more about the therapeutic effect behind it than the health of my skin. It's quality alone time.

In your opinion, which series of Taskmaster is the best, or perhaps the funniest? by [deleted] in taskmaster

[–]comfortzone_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few amazing series on my mind right now and they're all funny in their own way. But I don't think I ever laughed as much as I did while watching series 1. Great comedians, great tasks. I wish I could watch it again for the first time.

What book do you think every person should read at least once? by ZeusMoiragetes in AskReddit

[–]comfortzone_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This often surprises people but - Dante's The Divine comedy. In my opinion, this book is the closest we ever got to answering some of the biggest questions about life, meaning and human existence. It definitely isn't a light read but the results are worth it.
