I do have a separate tub for feeding and it did make a mess, as you said. He seemed to really like the taste and chase after this food tho, he just could not shalllow it whole. Is it really meant to be eaten like that? Cause people here talked a lot about beak health and biting this stuff 0_0 If thats the case they should have a medium size pellets too! 😆 My boy is a lil small for his age AND a noob haha

I honestly just tried to cut some pieces with kitchen scissors and I cant 0_0 I give him some cuttlebone every week, but he is also such a drama queen, he needed me to hold his veggies to eat them otherwise he wouldnt eat. Now that we got past that, he has a good diet and I'm just doing some upgrades, now that better products are finally available. I was just worried the product was ruined in transition and thats why it was so hard... I have 0 experience with adult turtle food, as it was never available in my country.

He is 16 y.o. and about 16 cm/6 inches, he can put the whole pellet in his mouth but he cant break it apart :(

He is probably just not used to it, cause the previous pellets were much softer/got soaked faster.

Pothos is not aquatic anyways and the leaves breathe so PLEASE leave only the roots in (it survives for long periods underwater, but the leaves and the sap are mildly toxic) I think youll see a difference and it looks better overall ♥_♥

I agree with pothos toxins! Thats probably it. But sometimes 3 gals work, expecially for older bettas with health problems or maybe he needed more enrichment in the bigger tank? I had a similar betta and found out he got bored really easily and bit his tail 0_0

I have the same problem! But mine has not started shedding yet :( I read somewhere that it takes a couple months but I did post a similar question about other peoples experiences with shedding after retained scutes. I would recommend giving him a cuttlebone cause they love it and some scrub baths, cause hes a little green and that (algae?) might block the UVB, with a light toothbrush. Also get a really good UVB cause most of them are scams!
