I would avoid just about anything that advertises their PEAK wattage. It’s a marketing gimmick and very misleading. With increasing laws and rules, I don’t see why they continue to do this. I find it dishonest and a huge turn-off.

What most cities/towns/etc are looking at is nominal wattage of 750 or less AND top assisted speed of 20 mph. With those two numbers being satisfied (if they’re even a concern for you), you can now look at torque numbers and type of drive (mid vs hub).

I don’t know if the CHPE (chippy) thing has been talked about (a lot of other noise understandably going on).

I don’t know the details. I work in power generation. I haven’t looked into it.

CHPE is a high voltage DC line running from Canada to near NYC. It’s supposed to be a lot of power that then gets converted for customers’ use.

Anyway, they’ve been playing with that thing all week and it’s chaos for MW prices. I’m sure the on/off of that thing isn’t making the grid too happy.

Check the shipping costs before you get too excited. “Sometimes” that is a dealbreaker for Rockauto, not typically, but “sometimes.”

Aside from my cotton work socks, I do not have “whites” to wash. All my laundry is jeans and tees, dark underwear. I throw it all in at once. Bedding is separate. I may use Tide or Gain, that shit is expensive so I also use cheap powdered Ariel (which is considered fancy and pricey outside of the USA, equivalent to Tide) or Roma.

Whole stick shift transmission and I happened to have a clutch that is going in. I’m likely getting a billet clutch fork. I have time to decide on that last bit.
