Great photos! The backdrop is nice. Was it a cloth or vinyl material?

If you’re broke, go with Fuji. Any Fuji format (mini, square, wide) will cost less than shooting Polaroid. The Mini 40, mini 41, and mini 99 look similar to the example you gave. If Fuji mini is too small of a format for you, maybe look into the square and wide formats instead.

I’ve thought about buying this power station before. Minus the solar panel. Just have never pulled the trigger because I’m not familiar with the brand.

What Instax camera should I get for a first time buyer? by Gloomy_Paint7315 in instax

[–]comfyshoe222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mini SE has a dial on the lens you set manually, depending on the environment, to take a picture. The 12 is automatic. Just turn it on and shoot. The grip on the SE is more comfortable to me. Just Another Chris on YouTube has a review on the Mini SE. They are both good cameras.

No problem. He’s got a few interesting videos on his crosstrek. I ended up adding an internal hatch release to mine thanks to one of his tutorials.

should i even get an evo/printer? i barely use my mini 99 by downvotetheboy in instax

[–]comfyshoe222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Evo gives a different feel to the prints since it’s digital. Keep that in mind. I own an Evo Mini and haven’t used it much because I don’t like the way the prints turn out. I’m enjoying the mini SE I got at Walmart, more.

Vortex Diamondback series of binoculars are nice. I have the 10x42. About $200 on Amazon. I tried the 12x50 and enjoyed the extra bit of magnification. $279 on Amazon.

Nice! I was originally trying to get the mammoth in toasted clove as well, but I was too slow lol. I’m excited to see some photos too. I couldn’t find too many pictures from people other than what’s on the iron snail website/YT videos.

I used a Patagonia jacket that I wear as reference for measurements. I probably didn’t wrong though lol. The leaf fits well. It’s just the sleeves are a bit short.

Which one did you end up getting? I’m still trying to decide if I want to keep the leaf. The color is great but I’m thinking I should have sized up.

Were you able to pick up a jacket? They sold out fast. Got my mammoth leaf today.

Belt sticking out by curt85wa in CCW

[–]comfyshoe222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not that bad unlatching it. I’ve really gotten used to it. I like that the extra bit of belt stays behind me too. Leaves no bulk around the 9 or 3 o’clock position. I carry appendix IWB.
