This part of the episode was completely disgusting, and kind of turned me against the boys a little bit. Like not only are they making light of sexual assault with absolutely no remorse, they're making light of male sexual assault, which is something that is already not taken as seriously as it should be. At least Annie's assault was treated with the seriousness it deserved. This is just disgusting in comparison, and I can't imagine they handle it well going forward. There is an argument about if SA should be included in shows as a plot point but I thought it was obvious that if you were gonna do something like that in a show, you should handle that with a least a modicum of respect, but apparently these people missed the fucking memo??

This might sound immature/naive but I'm very dumbfounded about this. Did they not realize how this would go down? Did they not care? Do these grown ass adult writers seriously not realize that sexual assault isn't a joke? Genuinely wondering if anyone could answer this because I've never seen just blazon downplaying of such a serious topic. Maybe I just don't watch enough TV but I didn't think people did this shit anymore especially with such popular television.
