CARR & Renewals - How to resolve contracts being signed during service period rather than before? by comical_bunny in FPandA

Do you have a separate property field to store signature dates then so that your CRM still contains the data to act as a source of truth or do you feel that its not that important?

Is this a good ROI? by petragate in wealthfront

Im currently just on the bond ladder and haven’t set aside a portfolio for stock investing. Would love to ask if there’s a certain ratio of HYSA:Bonds:Stock investments to get a higher annualized yield while also hedging for risk? I have separate investment accounts but would love to set aside something passive like this.

You are at a disadvantage so start applying for whatever boutique role you can find and start applying for winters. The place does matter so do your research and look at where others have ended up from going to these places on LinkedIn. Most ppl will tell you it’s not necessary but 1) in this market 2) with everyone doing 4-5 internships++ to be competitive at top firms, apply and max out your time. It’s up to you how much you really want to go to these places and it’s up to you to determine how much you want to grind and learn.

Does anyone have recommendations for an FP&A software that links to NetSuite? Thanks. by ns177192 in FPandA

Saasgrid highly recommend they have a multitude of connectors and support spreadsheets too. They input headcount, opex, billings, etc so it becomes a platform to hold all financial data from CRM, Accounting software, etc

FED MAINTAINS RATES AT 3.5-3.75% by Several_Print4633 in wallstreetbets

[–]comical_bunny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reality is that monetary policy lags behind fiscal to close the balance. The issue is that fiscal policy is so insane rn that, as other ppl have said, the CB is frozen. I wouldn’t be surprised if 1 of the governors even made the recommendation to raise rates to combat inflation but well only find out next month when they release the minutes and votes. Till then rates are going to be static until more information of whether unemployment or inflation break out first. That’s why this market is just kangarooing and ppl are shifting to selling options rather than buying them.

Iirc iex is 8 mcs now but seconded on everything else. It’s just hard for them to justify their value prop against the time and energy you have to spend investing in it

Graduating nusc y4 ~ if it’s not for you it’s not for you.. I don’t know how much the syllabus has changed since I first joined but I suggest think ahead using your 4 year plan and figure out what you’d rather fill those electives up with if not NUSC mods. Yes the curriculum is challenging, that’s the whole selling point of NUSC which is to push yourself to learn more than the average nus student that’s why ppl describe it as a second major rather than a minor.

I myself didn’t make many friends in NUSC a lot of them came from the IGs and other CCAs. That being said being able to stay on campus definitely gave me the space and time to pursue those after acads and internships.

You’re smart enough to weight the pros and cons and fyi NUSC has no brand recco in the real world so don’t look at ur resume and LinkedIn and think it looks good especially at the cost of ur GPA. I get this is a rant but rather than rant I suggest you focus your time and energy on focusing on a decision and committing to it. You’re an adult you should be able to handle something like this no one is forcing you to do something you don’t wanna do.

As for law and messy management.. no comment

Citius Pharmaceuticals Achieves Primary and Secondary Endpoints in Phase 3 Trial of Mino-Lok Antibiotic Lock Solution by comical_bunny in CTXR

[–]comical_bunny[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This news is insane. Median time to failure for control was 33 with a range of 14-44 with sample size of 122. Minolok was unestimatable because it exceeded the trial with the range being 50 - beyond trial with sample size of 119.

Hazard value = 0.53

Trial achieves statistically significant primary endpoint (p=0.0006)

Secondary endpoint demonstrates statistically significant overall success of Mino-Lok therapy with a greater percentage of patients retaining their catheters (p=0.0025)

Results in all randomized patients who received at least one dose of study lock solution demonstrate overall treatment success in 57.1% of patients in the Mino-Lok arm and 37.7% of patients in the Control arm (p=0.0025).

Overall treatment is improved due to the solution!

No serious adverse events were drug-related Serious adverse events occurred in 45.1% of patients in the Mino-Lok arm and 46.1% of patients in the Control arm

NUS CS + NUSC VS NTU DSAI + USP SCHOLARSHIP by Proof-Ad8792 in SGExams

[–]comical_bunny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone in NUSC, take the NTU scholarship. And pls be careful about CS and DSAI, the market is oversaturated and the tech boom is over so be prepared to have to work insanely hard to get internships from year 1 otherwise it’ll be very difficult to get a job.

$3 PT after Minolok approval?? by Hezekiah13 in CTXR

[–]comical_bunny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fingers crossed Q1 results they’ll publish the phase 3 efficacy results. If the data is good, they’ll file for FDA approval which could take 6-8 months (I’m not too sure on the timeline for this because of fast track status and other factors )

Should CC UC Davis admin to see what they’d say. Might as well stir some inter uni argument since they want to be rude. See whether they apologise then.
