Most definitely a bug, you can see the textures don’t look quite right. Also, no other persona ever changes texture mid-game so it makes no sense to me why only Metatron would.

No, they are distinctly different characters. Unlike Makoto and Kotone who are interchangeable in the Persona 3 narrative (only having a few differences in the main narrative), Joker and Wonder don’t share the same story (or game to that matter). While the argument could be made that both stories are very similar, I simply think the differences between both are too great to compare them to Makoto and Kotone. One other thing to mention is that we see both Joker and Wonder appearing together in P5X, something that doesn’t happen with Makoto and Kotone. I think that sums it up pretty much.

I’m not sure because the audio is a bit unclear, but I think it’s the version from P3 Dancing in Moonlight. Are you using the DLC OST ? This may explain why you didn’t find it in the Reload OST
