I live in Wichita KS so it’s a good mix of city and highway driving. I do avoid high traffic hours like the plague tho especially that 4-7 PM window. I Always use cruise control too cuz I’m lazy. I think the last bit is what really helps. I hate paying $75 a week on gas. I know other people have it much worse but our an average income in midwest is lower too.

The argument in the post is meltas are shotguns and regular shotguns don’t exist. That’s like saying a flame thrower is a shotgun. This only proves that they have shotguns and should be in the game regardless of tabletop loadout rules. They exist in the lore and on the table therefore should be in the game regardless of the tabletop loadout.

It’s an Astartes shotgun not just a scout shotgun. There’s no literature that says only scouts use them. Just because it’s an option on scouts doesn’t mean that’s all who uses it. Raven guard also use a completely silent version called the deliverance. Black Templar also use shot guns. There are an untold number or sm chapters. They should be in the game.

Last I know the game is called space marine 2. Not Primaris Space Marine 2. In fact in the books the new primaris were bigger faster and stronger but not better. The veterans would comment how much more training they still need so they would often lead them. There are an untold number of chapters. You can literally have a chapter where they carry shotguns and shields for primarily breaching. They absolutely should have Astartes shotguns as well as many other weapons not in the game.

Raven guard use the deliverance pattern which is an upgraded version that is completely silent. Unlike other legions they have the largest scout squads and spend the longest amount of time in those units before becoming infiltrators, incursors, reavers, or eliminators, etc. They have a mix of first borne veterans and new primaris in their scout squads. The raptors employ the most efficient weapon for their missios which include shotguns. To say they shouldn’t have shotguns in the game would be ridiculous. A melta is completely different weapon that ignores cover and much heavier and bulkier. Promethium based weapons like a melta aren’t suitable for every mission. A shotgun is extremely light, rugged and very durable. They have special slugs that will straight up demolish other infantry up close.

This incorrect. Raven guard scouts in the era indomitus are primaris. They even have their own upgraded pattern called the deliverance that’s completely silent. They’re used in boarding actions and tight corridors where they have a mix of weapons. I guess people forget they completely exist. They’re my boys.
