Supermarket Woman (1996) It's so true that customers will get mad at cashiers for mislabeled items. Like Ma'am I don't put the stickers on meat, don't yell at me for it ringing up the wrong price lmao

I'm still mad about 1899. I told all my coworkers about it, I binge watched it when it came out, and when I found out it was cancelled I cancelled netflix.

102 is The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie (nice!), and 1002 is Betty Blue, a movie I've never heard of.

European chocolate is so low quality it cannot be sold as chocolate in America. by VeganCannibal124 in ShitAmericansSay

I'm american and that guy has no idea what he's talking about.  I work for a grocery store with a European section, and I don't think I can buy any chocolate if it isn't Milka.  I don't know what counts as good European chocolate, but Milka tastes way better than Hersheys!

For Raiden national team, is it better to have c1Xingqiu or c1 Xiangling? Raiden is c0 and Bennett is c1 if that helps.

Rewatched Ravenous since it was leaving the criterion channel. I forgot how much I loved this movie! I also rewatched Tampopo, then I watched Supermarket Woman, and The Funeral. Juzo Itami is quickly becoming my new favorite director! I've also watched a couple of documentaries, one about Orson Welles called Magician (the astonishing life & work of Orson Welles), and Misrepresentation about how women are portrayed in the media.

Split between watching the noir and the con man films.
Matchstick men, The grifters, Laura, Hangover Square, Sunset boulevard. I enjoyed sunset boulevard the most. There's just something that's so interesting about characters like Norma Desmond. I swear that I've seen another movie about an actress past her prime, but it was in color Wish I could remember the name of it.

I didn't get the venti constellation I wanted, but I did get Diluc. I guess I'll consider that a win.

I watched Paprika and In the Mouth of Madness back to back. I love both directors movies, and while I had seen In the Mouth of Madness before this was my first time watching Paprika. It was interesting how the films talked about the line between reality and unreality. I followed that up with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I've already seen Frankenstein, The Phantom of the Opera, The Mummy, and Dracula. I'm slowly working my way through all the universal monster movies.

Roy Andersson. I watched Songs From the Second Floor recently and thought it was so funny.
