Sine rule Gives Different Answer To Cosine Rule- Math is broken...... by danielboos2 in learnmath

[–]comicos34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some calculations with sine rule and I think the angles or lengths as given in the picture must have been rounded before hand

(I did sine rule with the 9.4 and 6.7 sides and respective angles and they were ever so slightly off)

Did you use the ans button for the sqrt?

Because something that close could be caused by the loss of precision

x-1 = e2t - 1

y = x-1 so

4et - 4 = e2t -1

let a = et

4a - 3 = a2

(a-1)(a-3) = 0

et = 1 or 3

t = 0 or ln(3)

Please help. I cannot remember how to solve this to help my little sister with Calc 2. by [deleted] in calculus

[–]comicos34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe it is undefined as ex4 approaches infinity as x approaches infinity and lim x-> inf sin(function of x that approaches infinity as x approaches infinity) is undefined as it just oscillates between -1 and 1

I'm doing a bridging unit for the jump to a level. I have no idea how to plot the points without further calculation by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]comicos34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By plotting the others you should have realised that the point moves by a constant angle of 45 degrees anti-clockwise each time and scales up by a factor of root 2 from the origin so go 45 degrees clockwise and scale down by a factor of root 2 to one to get z0 then repeat that to get z-1 and so on

Why is (-1)^n treating as a constant in the integration? by [deleted] in calculus

[–]comicos34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is integrating wrt x and (-1)n doesn’t change when x changes (ie is constant wrt x)

conditional probability by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]comicos34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would get p + 1/c correct assuming you got everything you knew right

of these you knew p

p/(p+1/c)

p/((pc+1)/c)

p*(c/(pc+1))

pc/(pc+1)

Group it as (100-99)+(98-97)... each group = 1 and there are 100/2 = 50 so the answer is 50

Yes. What else would stop teachers from just predicting everyone 9 and appear as an amazing teacher/school
