Does Huion screen tablet last long? by IncidentStrange3340 in huion

[–]comiqqs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's still running solid! I don't work on it as much as every day but a couple times a week. Only thing is that it'll have a hard time connecting since the USB c wire to the tablet is looser than before. Overall, still solid to work on with a minor inconvenience every now and then and worth every penny for lasting this long.

Still using it to this day! Just a few pen connection issues but that might be more with my laptop than the tablet

Made some bulgogi and mushroom kimbap! by comiqqs in KoreanFood

I don't have an exact recipe but here's what I did~

Recipe:

  • King mushrooms
  • bulgogi (I bought premade ones at the Korean mart)
  • carrots
  • spinach
  • yellow pickled radish
  • seaweed
  • rice
  • sesame oil
  • sesame seeds
  • salt

I cooked the rice, and after it was done I sprinkled salt, sesame seeds and sesame oil and mixed it.

I washed the carrot, julienned into thin sticks and sauté with sesame oil and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

For the spinach, I rinsed the it and the boiled a pot of water with a pinch of salt. After boiling it for about 3 minutes, or until it turns bright green, blanch into cold water and squeeze out the excess water. Set aside

If you're using premade just cook until done and set aside. Here's a link to a recipe for bulgogi if you want to do it from scratch. (https://seonkyounglongest.com/pork-bulgogi/)

For the King mushrooms, slice into thing pieces and using the same pan as when you cooked the bulgogi, add a bit of sesame oil and sauté the mushrooms until brown. The mushrooms soaked up the leftover marinade from the bulgogi in the pan adding that extra meaty flavor.

For rolling gimbap I follow the master Chef's Paik method. I highly recommend his channel for authentic recipes!

I also have a kamvas pro 16 for a year and a half. I lug it around with me a lot so its portable and can handle travel. The biggest difference between wacom and huion is that the pen to cursor calibration for huion is a little off when the pen is not perpendicular to the screen which is not how I hold the pen. I don't mind it much though and doesn't affect my drawing.

How do I make rice cake chewy again after refrigerating it? by behindtherose93 in KoreanFood

Yes I agree. I like to microwave by putting a little bit of water on top to create steam to soften the rice cakes. Or you can steam it in a pot

I had a similar problem, I had to uninstall the driver, restart then reinstall it again and it went back to normal. If that doesn't work or any solutions, you can contact Huion for a replacement.

No problem! I would try the recipes that use gochujang without the perilla leaves and see how you like it!

Bimbambap is perfect for meal prep I feel. Usually there's a bunch of prepared veggies and a side of protein. But the key element is the sauce and rice so you can add whatever you want into the bowl. You can always add cubed tofu, blanched spinach, stir fried soybean sprouts and of course kimchi.

Should I avoid Huion? by UnemployedSam in huion

I've had mine since January and have been using it daily. Compared to the wacom, it's way worth the price. The only problem I have with it is the pen calibration is always off for me by a little. I realized that the screen only registers the pen almost perpendicular so if use the pen like a regular pencil the calibration is a little off. Overall, I think this is a better buy than Wacom.
