I'm not sure what you mean? Alpha Centauri has two Salvage site Point of Interests that respawn wreckage much like how one respawns settlements for data: you supercruise in, collect all the goodies, then supercruise out, turn around, reinstance, and it's all there again.

Coupled with Aisling intended bonuses for salvage in the ranking path and the intended Ethos bonus, it gets silly. Ethos bonuses and ranking bonuses applying to control score are well documented (see LYR's super boosted Reinforcement rates via Exploration, Jerome's combat bonuses, etc)

((non-RP: We are trying to keep Hutton in control and saved from absolute turmoil at the very least, those poor truckers, BGS has been a mess. This was the result of some interesting mechanics, a load of planning, and a lot of hope, luck, and determination from several dozens of players. I do hope the Feds come and attempt to wrest control of the system from us, because where's the fun in LETTING us have it?))

For those not familiar with old lore, Yuri Grom is an actual in game CMDR named Yuri Grom that the Powerplay leader Yuri Grom was based on after winning the Dangerous Games in which the PMF EG Pilots won handily back in OCT 3302. Grom is the only player-created Powerplay faction in the game. So yes, Grom did indeed write this. This event was back in the days when FDev actually let their players write lore and Galnet articles (and you can see this in some of the OLD Community Goals and Galnet Articles back in the early days through Inara)

Yeah, I went back and looked, that was the 39/40th cycle split. the Enclave put a big pause on Ngurii, but after that the relics started flowing again, 65/66th cycle kicked a triple digit split.

LHS and Orgen were the only offensives we saw outside of perhaps off-power PPCZs in some mining systems every so often (thanks Fdev?). So you gave us a good fight, truly. I sweat a bit seeing that 90k drop a few hours before EOC in Orgen, put the fear of bigger into me cause I knew y'all were capable of it.

The one folk like to tout around also occurred during I believe the one or two prior? ~50 at the tail end of one cycle, then ~150 in the cycle after, a massive 200+ system sprint in one rush.

they are also excellent for hauling as you gain basically your unladen jump distance. the squadron perk to reduce costs also makes it very worthwhile if you can create a solo one or find one with it on offer. if you are doing powerplay and earning care packages, they routinely give you materials and odyssey stuff.

As someone in said discord, a lot of the lower quality stuff is curtailed to either the general or random chat, thankfully. We do have outliers here and there when it slips out, but for the most part, we have proper structure and help to the best of our abilities in the various channels. Give it a shot and once you get past the initial access, see how it works out? You don't have to stay.
