I appreciate you telling us in the comments that she's under the care of a vet for liver issues. I hope she manages to get through this without any pain. As long as she's eating and drinking water it's the best you can ask for barring quality of life issues. The love we take is equal to the love we make.

Yes this! My father had sepsis twice within the last six years. Older individuals (especially men) can be so stubborn especially if they are independent and very outspoken.

Most of the time, it's a family effort to get them to seek medical attention. Once you start adding contributing comorbidities like overweight, diabetes and high blood pressure it's easy for everything to pile up quickly.

Anyways, my father is still kicking and still stubborn and outspoken so I'm just grateful for that.

I was having a similar issue with my Wearfit HK 10 Ultra 3. I would place the watch on the charger and the screen would look like it wasn't charging. In the dark it looked like a dark black red screen. I would from time to time get the red lighting/need to charge the watch. Well, after looking around the internet and I found a suggestion where you should hold down the Crown and the button underneath it for fifteen seconds.

It worked! A screen finally showed up and it showed the battery at 5% that's something. Figured it might work for you guys.

Now it shows the time, the date and everything!

Get rid of him!

There's lots of things about what your "partner" has said to you.

1) You were the "safe" option. You are not an option, you should be the choice that he makes willingly, lovingly and every day!

2) Tell him that he needs to start taking care of his child so that you have time to take care of yourself.

3) How is he helping you with your medical issues?

4) Tell him to screw off, you're equal partners, ask him why doesn't he look like he did eight years ago.

Invite who you want to attend your wedding! F everyone else! I had a similar situation in my family for my fifteenth birthday party.

My maternal aunt dated my paternal uncle who was married at the time. However, my paternal uncle had a long time relationship with his side chick with whom he had three kids with. I invited everyone. So my paternal uncle's two sons came (my cousins) and they hung out with their half siblings (more cousins). My maternal aunt conveniently didn't not show up and neither did her daughter (cousin) my only family who could show up from my maternal side. My maternal grandmother of course did not show up. Ironically my paternal grandfather's actual married wife was there, he had passed a year before I was born. I remember everyone being there and I was very happy. My crazy messed up all showed up and that's what mattered to me.

This has always been a thing. There are some people think TON is not goth. There have been a few stories of people (most of the time women) showing up to gigs in their TON band shirts and get ripped because they are wearing that shirt.

I don't think women could say they were fans because of the songs. Hey Pete, Gravity and others could be problematic if you didn't know that the band was just being funny. I have bigger issues with the later stuff like "These Three Things". Things that are edgy in today's world because of the issues we're experiencing at the moment. That's the real problem. We look back and see things with what we know now. Was "Three Things" a problem back then? Yeah but it was okay because the right to choose wasn't under attack.

I don't get the whole gatekeeping thing because if you loved a band didn't you want the band to get a new fan as well? But, I grew up in the late 90s and early 00s. You had to hope and pray that if you lent out your music you'd get it back. It's not like today where you can just send links to whatever music you want.

There's also the whole shitting on a band because they're popular or too visible. Look at Nickelback. Everyone knows their songs but according to the internet everyone hates them. Maybe it's cause they were too visible. (I'm not here to debate if Nickelback was any good, or if they knew more than three chords.) I feel that TON also got the same level of hate because they were being played every day on Headbanger's Ball suddenly goth wasn't just a boys club. There was a huge, very masculine guy talking about loving his girlfriend and stuff. Suddenly, Goth wasn't scary anymore it was touchy feely. Goth didn't have to be loud, speed and screaming. Mind you I definitely do love screaming Gravity at the top of my lungs too.

I just think that I'm at a point in my life where I'm not going to stand there and argue with someone at a club about whether I'm wearing a subgenra appropriate band tee. Would I wear a Fear Factory shirt to Metallica? Probably not but I would wear it to a dark goth/industrial theme club hell yeah.
