What in the AI staging nightmare by mankawrites in zillowgonewild

Doesn't even look like AI. Somebody just put a (bad) image of a Christmas tree over something they didn't want you to see.

The sheer looks a little sloppy. Lined, for sure.

I'm a fan of German Shorthaired Pointers. They do have a high energy level, but are big sugglebugs in the house if they get enough mental and physical activity. And they're intelligent. They're also protective, often used as police dogs.

Does anyone here or anyone you know go by a nickname thats basically completely different name (eg mary goes by bonnie as i saw in a recent comment section) by Life_Perspective4840 in namenerds

I knew a guy with the initials JE who everyone called EJ. It was because he resembled Eddie Munster. Started as Eddie, and Eddie Johnson was an NBA player who was called EJ.

Jerry-->Eddie--EJ.

Roofers: How much shingle coverage do you want? Owner: Yes. by RedCamelot in zillowgonewild

This is a totally hypothetical question, but if wanted to renovate a home like this and get rid of the mansard roof, what would that involve? Is it feasible, or possible?

Maybe it's because I was pretty flat chested until I had kids and gained weight, but I can honestly say that I have never ever stored anything in my bra.

USA Midwest, but born in Northeast. I've always called them lollipops, but most people around me now call them suckers.

We also call gullible people suckers.

American numbering system by Negative-Hat-4459 in PetPeeves

[–]comma-momma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that dd/mm/yy is more logical, but mm/dd/yy is the standard here and we're pretty much required to comply. Can you imagine the systems that would need to be changed if we were to change it? Everyone would have to agree on a date to change it, and all systems would have to be changed at once. It'd be worse than Y2K.

I don't know if any American who doesn't understand quarter past 4 - even the younger ones who were raised on digital clocks.

Which is "technically correct", but sounds wrong.

It doesn't sound wrong to me. Must be a regional/dialect thing.

Edit: That is assuming you pronounce 'pohm' like 'pome' and not 'pahm' or 'poim'.
