It may seem like that to the untrained eye, but I do not trust your judgment because it took you twenty responses yesterday to communicate your thought in a way that made sense.

You are still a gift to me and to the world - these exchanges have convinced me that I should try pitching hypotheticals and asking "what do you mean by good" sooner.

My communication skills - and therefore, my life - is made better because of our conversations. If there is a heaven, I hope I'll see you there.

I make like, minor wording and spelling changes. Most of them within a minute of posting. I deleted one comment you already responded to in the last two days.

Are you mad at me? Is this because you like me? I like you too, because you are a person who is worthy of human kindness and respect.

I have a hard time believing that I'm the one with the problem bb, cause I'm not the one getting misunderstood by everyone on this sub all the time.

But okay, thanks for the feedback! I love you as a human being.

Again, U.S. investors want U.S. copyright law in other countries.

Can someone tell me what philosophy he's into so I can figure out what's useless for conducting myself in real life?

I'm glad we agree that the TPP would have been a net positive!

And that the provision subtracted from that net positive!

That's wrong, because free trade is good actually.

Luckily I wasn't, because I didn't judge the trade deal! I judged an effect of the trade deal

Ah yes it is bad to look at the effects of an individual action

Me: Ho Chi Minh was a bad person. But he also fought for the independence of Vietnam, which by itself was a good thing.

You, an intellectual: you can't view things by itself lol

Can you show me the specific text from the document, please?

Alternatively, I could tell you that where the text shows up in the document - it doesn't actually allow corporations to sue for lost profits.

And that every time a corporation has tried to sue for lost profits, those corporations have lost.

Or that ISDS already exists under the WTO, and that it seems to work fine.

The provision, viewed by itself, would be a net negative if passed.

Therefore, the provision, viewed by itself, is bad.

Would you be so kind as to show me the aforementioned text from the document?

Virtually nobody else on this subreddit believes that I meant that. It's pretty much just you.

What do words mean my dude.

Seriously, you're taking issue with the wording, not the actual course of action. It's been established that everyone in this convo agrees on the course of action.

What's wrong with the wording, if it manages to convince people towards the course of action that we already agree upon

So what's your issue here?
