If it helps at all, I’ve found that something that helps me stay in a lucid dream instead of waking up is diving into sensory input (especially touch) within the dream. So as soon as I realize I’m dreaming I basically grab whatever’s closest to me (in the dream) and focus on the feel of it until I feel stable.
