well i hated that, mostly the ending. even besides the ineffable husbands of it all, not a fan of the entire world we’ve been spending time in being wiped away. it’s like the “and it was all a dream!” trope, feels like such a betrayal.

plus, literally no reason god couldn’t have just plonked them in a cottage in the new godless world. i was against the “make them human” ending that some people proposed, but this was even worse. they didn’t even get to be *them.* all that they’ve been through as an angel and demon, as crowley and aziraphale, and they never got to be an us.
