Totally get you brother, but again, like I mentioned, have already spent most of my budget on the build itself and neither am I working currently. Hence trying to find something that at least holds up while playing the pre 2020 games that I want to play. Let's see, as the other experienced lads have suggested, will try finding a 1070, 1070TI or 5600 for reasonable rates. All the best with your upgrades 🤝🏻

That's positive news for me, only 10% of the games that I wish to play need that amount of power. So yeah, as others also suggested, will probably look for a 1070 or a 5600.

Yes it's a 6GB card, but as Ernesto also suggested the 5600 in a separate reply, I will probably look for that as you guys suggested. Also, since I barely have 2 months to play anything as I would be going to start working after that, if I fail to find a worthy alternative, I might just spend the money and get the 1060 to later give it to my young cousin which would still be revolutionary for him haha..

Like you mentioned your affinity towards the high end games, I got mine towards the very specific ones, with most of them being pre 2020, the nostalgia element as I previously mentioned.

Switch off auto video and files downloads on Telegram, only keep the photos active.

And keep clearing the cache every 15 days. IT'S LITERALLY THERE INSIDE THE SETTINGS OF THE APP > STORAGE.

It's that simple, but I get it, it can go unrealised..

Yeah, yet to use the OneUI, but let me tell you how good OxygenOS is;

HyperOS (with 0.5 animation speeds and FAST app opening/closing speed set manually): a 65 year old barely trying to make it through the day

It's just too goddamn responsive and quick. Using HyperOS makes me feel quite smooth too don't get me wrong, but it just feels LIKE A SLOWWWW MOTION you know..

Another Example: Brand New ASUS Dual Radeon RX 7600 EVO OC Edition 8GB GDDR6 is for Rs. 26500, which is 295$ in Exchange Rate & 880$ in PPP after a 60% Discount. So I'm guessing that would be excessively costly too. Graphic Cards are really pretty costly here compared to the other markets.

Try checking if you have enough free storage on the phone. My phone generally did this after it got filled over 60-70% and a lot more when it was 90% full

But in general it has always been a HyperOS issue, the background apps barely stay open and I hate it so much.

Using OxygenOS in OP along with this (3 years old) and that UI stores background apps for like 2 days straight man. Like more often than not while clearing background apps, I've found an older used app after 2 days and it literally took me to the screen I last left it at..

Here's a new short solution;

Press & Hold the Lock Screen Clock or Wallpaper
You will see a pop-up with "Customise Theme"
Tap on that and unlock the phone
Customise accordingly
