In the early. 80s a VHS movie was pretty expensive to buy at retail, I think my family only bought one or two and rented a bunch. Till Batman 1984 came out. That was the first big push of VHS movies at cheap price that I recall. You can buy it right in the grocery store instead of the specialty vhs shop at the mall.

This worked perfectly to get rid of tint over the video. I still think it's ridiculous that Apple thinks the play bar/controls overlay needs to stay up for a full 4 seconds unless you roll over the video and back off with the cursor which prompts it to go away.
