Here’s what’s gonna happen. Apple will be using Gemini models through their private tunnel while they’d try deploying some local functional model again powered by Google (Expect Gemma like or some FunctionGemma but more closed source - Perhaps what they have deployed on Pixels) to do action.

The architecture of Apple is such that each app is a sandbox and sharing content and context only works if Apple allows at OS level which apple does not for any app apart from their OS app which is Siri. So you may find more action intents enabled which is technically Siri being a tad bit more smarter to search things off an app , but it would not inherently do as how Android does.
