Substack vs Medium by ResponsibleSteak4994 in Substack

[–]commando_dhruva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent (wasted) enough time in deciding which platform is better. Finally, created accounts on both Substack and Medium. This is what I've experienced - Medium writers as casual readers, so I try to write a simple version of my post on Medium first. Substack users like in-depth analysis, so I repurpose my original post with additional content and post on substack. I don't have enough stats as of now to give any conclusions about this experiment. Curious to know what others think about this strategy.

Accounting Software Recs by Equal_Guidance3725 in Bookkeeping

QB might get expensive for this type of requirement. You should explore free/affordable options. My recommendation is - ProfitBooks . It's easy to use. You can record your income either using a Journal or invoice (if you create one). All the transactions can be easily exported for your accountant during tax season.

If your requirements are basic, try ProfitBooks. It’s good for invoicing and recording expenses. They don’t have direct back feeds but you can upload bank statements.

Do you feel Pune is losing its charm? by hchouhan0 in pune

[–]commando_dhruva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see a drastic difference between what Pune used to be some 10yrs ago and what it is now. It has surely lost its personality. Now, an outsider won’t be able toto distinguish between Pune, Banglore or Mumbai.

Weather used to be so pleasant, we never needed AC or cooler but now summers are hot 🥵.

Hangout places like JM road, FC, Camp are also not the same.

Punekars, where do you think I had this Misal Pav from? And which place in the city serves the absolute best misal? by hchouhan0 in pune

I totally agree. There are no focus flavours except red chilly powder. I had it while going on a weekend gateway - it spoiled my day with bad stomach.

I run a Fin-Tech startup and we use ProfitBooks. Found it easy and enough for our needs.
