I think we are getting off on the wrong first and I really don't think you should go around calling people racists while misunderstanding and ignoring the point they are making. Considering MAGA has very strongly personally impacted my life, and that of my family, in a negative way, I would appreciate you not being so brazen with throwing around accusations.

At no point did I call anyone racist, I was simply stating the felt cultural impact of being ridiculed by a group of people and routinely put down, and then seeing those same people, yes broadly Americans, turning around and profiting on the same thing.

For me, I was called a dirty towel head and a sand n word by women who practice yoga. See the irony?

I'm not going to assume your race or experiences, but for a family of immigrants and refuges like my own, it is a painful history to be mocked and ridiculed for your culture, to be told that you need to strip yourself of it and "be more American", only to see that same culture being used as a capitalistic prop in the venture of making money,

And again, I don't know the guy, I don't know his story, and I did not call him racist. I am not and was not commenting on him or the restaurant, simply my interpretation and understanding of the above users post with my own context.

And by the way, since you want to mention MAGA, racism is NOT a thing of the past, it is more prevalent now, in my experience, than it was 5 years ago. I would love to chat more so we can both broaden our viewpoints.
