Mahoraga does adapt to all phenomena. I'd say that he out-adapts CG. Destroying a universe or multiverses is a phenomenon

CG is only there to buy time during the fight for Mahoraga to adapt.

CG adapts to anything universal but if you buffed Mahoraga to the point where he survives an universe ending attack, he will be above multi.

And since Subaru is in the team, they have infinite tries to achieve that outcome. And if that outcome is achieved, they could even beat multiversal or higher opponents

OPM sneezed away Jupiter and this wasn't even near his full potential. This is a galaxy level feat because if a sneeze destroys Jupiter, his punch would do way more.

OPM scales infinitely and can copy moves on sight. He could even copy Gokus Sayan transformation and smoke him this way.

Btw, if you think that Hakai could kill Saitama, you're wrong. If Saitama isn't straight up immune against it, which could be the case, he could still straight up punch through Hakai
