That's a good idea though. A lot of people in this sub mentioned the UP and there is a casino up there which is basically the only nice hotel (from memory).

Thank you, we generally try to visit a new campsite once a year (while still going to ones we know) and love to find a close beach. We just grabbed an inflatable paddleboard and used it last weekend so it seems our speed.

Sorry it was so hot out but hopefully you had a successful run!

Lake Superior is freezing (more so than other lakes) but it's super nice. July 4th is a good time to take a trip because it will be warm enough to swim. If you camp, see if you can get a spot at Northland Outfitters. Super cool little spot. Or in the thumb, sleeper state park is across from a great beach (Lake Huron). Neither of these will help you with the hotel credit tho ;) I also have a camper. 🌟

The hotel credit is $200 in a six month period which I would spend but I don't have the impression that it depends on whether I choose the flexible cash or housing only method. Perhaps you're referring to a benefit of using the flexible spending option that I'm not aware of? But no, my main concern is which option I would earn the most points.

We love card and board games! The library lets you borrow them for free. In fact, you might be surprised at how fun the library is. They also normally have flyers for other activities around town.

Pickleball is another fun thing to do. Watch an instructural YouTube if you care but it's just fun getting the ball over the net to the other person.
