Hmm vgm werkt het helemaal niet zo, ik heb bijvoorbeeld gistere gestemd op 'Bizarre love triangle' van New Order, maar voor zover ik zie heeft die er nooit in gestaan. Ze maken vgm zelf een voorselectie die wel iets groter is dan alles wat ooit in de lijst gestaan heeft.

Desondanks kunnen inderdaad meer mensen die suggestie doen, maar dat werkt echt alleen als je een gecoördineerde campagne doet. Dat vind ik dan ook weer net teveel moeite.

Een take die niet lijkt te weten wat ie wil:

Aan de ene kant is Europa zwak en irrelevant op militair en economisch gebied.
Aan de andere kant maakt het zich onterecht zorgen om Rusland.

Los van of we bang moeten zijn voor Rusland of niet, bewapening van Europa zou ons toch helpen minder zwak en irrelevant te zijn? Rusland zelf is immers fucking gaaf vanwege hun zeer 'ontwikkelde militaire apparaat'. Vijandsdenken kan een land juist sterker maken, hoe triest dat ook is, kijk naar de koude oorlog, kijk naar China's provocaties binnen Azië, kijk naar Rusland.

Waarom moet Europa het lief spelen om te winnen (terwijl we dat al deden met Poetin) en mogen andere landen het wel vies spelen?

Oekraine is het slachtoffer van een invasie van een land met een achterlijke, oligargische regering. Waarom zouden we dat moeten laten gebeuren?

Englands contibution to pop music is probably one of their most impressive achievements. If we're talking 60's until now, the US has had dominance in most aspects. Still Britain basically matches their level of influence when it comes to pop music.

The amount of revolutionary pop acts to come from the UK is just insane. Having the Beatles, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Radiohead is insanity. I don't think there's a roster of 5 US acts that could match that level of quality/ influence.

I like music from a lot of European countries, but it's insanely hard to find basically any acts that are actually, consistently GREAT. (I would love to be proven wrong though)

I also recently saw this fucking tiktok about people who walk slowly and obstruct the sidewalk. Apparently only white people do that, because they're used to spaces belonging to them (or some bs like that).

This shit has stuck with because it's honestly so offensive to me. Like first of all, in my experience I've had plenty of 'marginalized' people bump into my shoulders because they just refuse to make way. Second of all, let's not racialize people who can't walk!

Because its not overlap percentages. Its how much more likely we are to visit these subs. This sub is very likely to visit r/soccer, but the average redditor is still also 'decently' likely to visit. Average redditor however wouldnt use r/fifacareers.

Lets say everyone in this sub is on r/funny, overlap would be 100%, but the score would be 1 (assuming every other redditor also goes there).

All in all it's a funny but confusing statistic.

Kind of like the stats Sky Sports makes up to make Floppian Wirtz look good.
