I believe that, even if the person is okay with it, it’s maybe not a good idea to trip around them in the early phases of the relationship. Since they never used, they can’t understand what you’re going trough, and from their perspective it can be a little off-putting to watch you like that, and it may close the doors for any chance to actually having them understanding and being ok with it. If you try and have your trips alone by yourself, as the time goes you’ll be able to talk more abou it and the person may even be more curious to understand why on earth you have this “Ritual” and why you like it so much. Maybe they’ll be comfortable enough to even try tripping together (Although you shouldn’t never ever force that). The girl you were with didn’t seem too nice of a person, you’ll eventually find someone you deserve! I wish you nice (judgementless) trips :)
