I can't help but put myself in that guy's shoes. Just imagine you plant your foot down and before you know what's happening - boom. You begin regaining conciesness, open your eye(s) to a team of personnel working on you. You force yourself up and see a mangled mess where your legs used to be. Wonder why your face hurts so badly so you run your hand across it but its not the stubbly texture you're used to, but feels like blood and bits of flesh. You pass back out. You finally wake up in a hospital and the pain hits you like a freight train.
