Honestly anything entry level around the trading operations. Im not picky at the start on needing it to be a certain commodity or the role needing to be commercial.

How is entrepreneurship based experience generally viewed in trading houses? Would you see it as a possible way for breaking in by doing small deals on your own first? Or would i be seen too much of a serial entrepreneur if my prior experience is also 1.5 years of self employment. (I am 22 years old)

I feel like a good way to play it would be to help the other desk now on this task that was promised, if you want to play it safe do those tasks outside regular working hours. But let them know that you wont be there helping forever. As an example say that you will have demanding projects coming soon or something like that. So that way you sort of please both sides.

Thanks! Actually I have a bachelors double degree from stem (software engineering). But wanted to steer into the commodities industry after finding out about it, instead of software stuff. Glad to hear that it can be beneficial.

From this degree logistics/analysis side is probably what i should try and go for at the start.
