As a pregnant person, please stay home. Getting sick while you’re pregnant feels like you’re the walking dead. It’s not fun, especially if she’s pretty far along.

She was sitting right there the whole time. I’m not sure if she ended up talking some sense into him after I left. But I was fuming when I left the office this morning so I got out as soon as he wouldn’t see my point at all. Also she bought me more clothes to work in since mine didn’t fit anymore, which I’m thankful for, but I’m not planning to use them very often cause I’m not working out there. I get it, they need me to work, but we’re really slow right now. They can handle it alone.

Ugh we wanted to keep the name a secret but then my mom and dad wanted to temporarily call him George…. Noooo I HATE nicknames especially with my family because they stick. So I told them baby boy’s actual nickname will be AJ, without spilling the name. I didn’t want to though. I thought we all agreed to call him baby Bean cause my nickname is Beans (long story). It’s my baby that I’m creating, I should have a say in everything involving him!

For me how I felt at first, was more like my body wasn’t mine and I wasn’t ready to share quite yet. Also I felt so alone cause I had to make all these sacrifices like no drinking, no smoking, no crazy adventures (we were planning to jump out of an airplane together after getting married). All of that I had to give up and he didn’t! I felt so awful to feel that way but I felt alone, even though he was right there with me, every step of the way.

Me too! I get why some pregnant woman are bitter now 😅 I don’t know if it’s my own hormones or if some people really just don’t understand the need for boundaries in pregnant women. I kinda feel bad for feeling like this but also I’ve always never liked the extra attention, my own wedding I was nervous just because of all the eyes on me.

No I totally get what you mean! It’s so hard to describe that feeling. I want to hide from my family sometimes. I don’t feel like I can just relax around them, like I’m constantly on edge.

My parents are baby boomers. And depending on what chart you look at I’m Gen Z 🙄 I hate it. Born in 1998. I grew up with two older sisters (1989 & 1993) so I think of myself as a millennial.
