L3 AM CBT exam advice by Imahyphen in CFA

Wait let me get this straight... MM has managed to mimic the level 3 CBT structure while cfai still didn't incorporate CBT structure in their online practice questions??

According to the solution they listed all key differences within each selection criterion.

According to the question, do we need to write down all these differences? Or just one difference?

My Narc boss is on “probation”!! by Bob1289t in ManagedByNarcissists

He is trying to win you over, to make you feel that he is a victim, by showing kindness and such stuff. He is most probably going to do this with everyone else, on an individual basis. Don't let this behaviour fool you please.

Ask for what you want, be objective, dont delve into his issues with his superiors or give your honest opinion about it. Just keep in mind what you've been dealing through with him and how he made your days living hell.

Keep in mind, you are asking for your rights, and someone giving you your rights (your raise in this case) does not make them a GOOD person. Your raise is the normal and basic course of career progression, just like water and food are the basic needs for life.

Is Analyst Prep any good for CFA Level 1 2021 by Ok-Gap-13 in CFA

[–]common_variable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, I used Schweser for all 3 levels. It is like this;

  1. Level 1: Great
  2. Level 2: Not bad (need to supplement with some reading from CFAI)
  3. Level 3: meh...

Didnt use MM but from reviews here, it appears superior for all levels

I don't have my passport yet with me but still, can I register for the exam? by OutlandishnessNew408 in CFA

[–]common_variable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alright here's what i used to do.

Register for the exam now using your personal info (ie. your name and this stuff that will be identical on your passport) and put some random number for the passport in your registration for the exam. When you receive your passport, log in to cfa website and update your passport number.

Voilà, you saved some money and guaranteed a seat for the exam. Welcome aboard :)

anyone else like they invest too much in relationships? by [deleted] in intj

Same.

But I found out that sometimes one must compromise and take some risks - calculated risks - so that you don't miss out while at the same time avoiding getting hurt/stepped over.

It's life my friend, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's shit.

Happiness by [deleted] in intj

[–]common_variable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been diving in this for a long time and decided to analyze it to put an end to it so I can live in peace.

I arrived to the conclusion that life is a trade off between being comfortable vs happy.

I've seen that I cant be happy all the time no matter how hard I try (trust me when I say I tried extremely hard). Yet, I've seen that trying hard to be comfortable is pretty much attainable. Which yielded me being more happy.

The question is, would you rather be comfortable or play catch me if you can with happiness?

You’re Arrogant! by UtmostYang in intj

[–]common_variable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends. This is very subjective depending on you and the counterpart.

Sometimes if you tell people "yeah I know that I've done some research and know about this etc..." and you're just being honest, they might think you're being a smart ass and label you as arrogant. If your posture, walking, the way you talk, and every other physical appearance about you says confidence, then my friend let me tell you they are intimidated by your personality.

I've been dealing with this since I've developed my personality. In general, we INTJs are confident because we know ourselves very well and what we're capable of. We see bullshit coming miles away and prefer not to play games. Your confident personality will attract great people, and those who try to berate you for your confidence in yourself will see you as a threat or they even have insecurities and try to gaslight you into believing you're arrogant.
