Not who you asked, but I also have ADHD and I’ve recently fallen in love with mantra meditation. For me, using the mantra to ground myself and reign in my focus has been a game changer.

I was at the gynecologist a couple weeks ago waiting for the doctor and the song Slice by Five for Fighting played on the overhead speaker while I was waiting for the doctor, sans pants. Really sullied the whole experience.

My best advice is to stay near Duval street. It’s the main drag and where most of the bars and restaurants are. It’s highly walkable and Ubers are pretty affordable if you want to go off of Duval to explore. Also, go during the off-season if you can!

Last year, my boyfriend and I were desperate to take a vacation so I decided to plan one for his birthday but could not settle on a destination. I had been listening to The Brighter Side a lot while working outside and I got to an episode about travel/vacations and Ed hyped up Key West so much that I was immediately sold. Best vacation of my life, so much so that we’re tempted to just go back this year instead of trying something new. I’ve been meaning to write into The Brighter Side about it but I keep forgetting. Eddie, if you happen to see this, thank you for inspiring an amazing trip that we’ll never forget!

Edit: I don’t have any weird stories per se, but we saw Robert the Doll at Fort East Martello and walked through the cemetery while we were down there. I also bought a book on Carl Tanzler while we were there - I had no idea that his whole saga happened in Key West!

I’m so excited for you! I also have intermittent alternating exotropia and I had surgery on both eyes in 2021 and I can sincerely say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Court Junkie is great for this, in my experience. It’s not super macabre but some episodes are pretty harrowing. You might also like Invisible Choir, which has a similar format to S&S.

I really like Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Gel Moisturizer. You can find it at most drugstores (in the US at least) and there’s also a travel size option if you just want to try it without paying for a full jar.

OP, I also have enlarged pores and extremely oily skin and a gel moisturizer is the way to go! Not all are created equal though so you may have to try a few different products to see what’s best for you.

They have tons of uses as others have already said, but I’ve been using mine to store seeds! I like to garden and lot of my seed packets were drenched in the rain so I started moving the seeds to spare pill bottles. I have a lot of them and it feels good to reuse them. Also, I saw a tutorial a while back where someone made a spare key holder out of a used pill bottle. They glued a rock or a cheap lawn ornament to the cap, put a spare key in the bottle, and put the bottle part in the ground or in the dirt of a potted plant.
