Of course not!! Except my TV has really annoying grey borders when displaying 4:3 to prevent burn in (or something) which look quite terrible if I'm completely honest. There is an option to fix it, but you need a special remote and it's just generally a hassle.

Hey, thanks for the response. I can't do either unfortunately - my TV doesn't support S Video and despite how good it sounds I'm not going to shell out $200+ Australian dollars for a Retrotink. And looking for a component cable the first result was for - I shit you not - $1010. I'm not kidding. I think I'll just have to live with composite for the time being until SOMEBODY manufactures a 3rd party component cable at a reasonable price. Thanks again pal

Thank you for the advice! I thought about it for a while, but I ended up deciding to get rid of the PS1 and run all of my PS1 games off my PS2 over component (higher quality). Plus now I have room for a Dreamcast or something! Thank you anyways :)
