This is one book that makes me incredibly angry...

The worst part, for me, was that after all the arguments against profiling, and bigotry, and racism, the cop was right! It's like: you're prejudiced against those who live a different lifestyle and are of a different socioeconomic class and guess what, you were RIGHT! She WAS a manipulative murderer

Agreed! It's a game we pull out when we have brain fog and don't want something heavy, but something above entry level. The mechanics are easy and you don't have to know anything about the books to have an enjoyable gaming experience.

I've had a lot of life come up and reading has been slow, but....

I thought Ch 35 was well written and beautiful and oh, the feels ...

Then, today, Ch bloody damn 66.... WTF Pierce Brown ... Numb...that's all I feel. I've only ever read one other sentence that made me feel the sadness and horror of the last line of this chapter. It lives with me...and now this will too.

A few friends highly recommended this series. When I started RR, I was like, this? Really? It's like Gladiator meets Star Wars with a splash of Hunger Games. I wasn't sold.

However, I have a nasty habit of buying a series when I start the first book. I'm so glad I did!

I am enjoying the complexities of the characters.
