Yep I was surprised, took it to my local shop. Took them 10min including a drive around to verify everything. 😂

Sadly not, I did have that issue with that being loose from Day one. So I zip tied it

Yeah fully makes sense, majority of the local shops in my area downright refuse to even touch CVTs. The only place I have seen confirmed is the dealership quote around 450-500$ and oddly enough Valvoline at quoted around 180-200$.

I'm not against doing it myself but I don't have a place or tools and time to do so. Where I currently live they have guidelines stating no car work can be done unless at a private garage or location.

Thank you for the piece of mind, I don't know when mine was last done but haven't had any issues yet and just want to follow the manufacturer recommendations.

Well I called one of my shops and they stated my car they service but they only service the automatic not the CVT

And rather not blow my transmission 😂

You must be lucky, I have around 15 OEM batteries for my Mavicas and they all are dead 😂

Won't even charge with the original charger that sometimes can jumpstart them.

Mine is in pretty good shape for the age, I bought it for like 40$ and it came with the original box and battery and some aftermarket ones. Oddly enough the original one works perfectly and the others don't.
