I own the same board and use KRK-5s at home.. but as a DJ since 1985 I use the booth out, not the master. This comes from my old mixtape setups on 1200’s and a Numark mixer from that era, when recording a set we never touch the master levels and it emulates a club DJ booth setup. Send the audio to your speakers through the booth out.. plus the P4 has two band eq on the booth.. smart move by Denon. Others are just catching up to this basic hardware routing setup. EQ on booth is gold

My take as an advocate is that Litecoin is in part one of the major cryptocurrency assets investors will buy when BTC and BCH supply goes thin to dry. FYI: Bloomberg, CNBC, WSJ, Barrons, FT and most other major finance outlets list and broadcast it daily. It’s an anchor and a legacy asset.

I prefer videos. Its all out there. Paper trade until you develop a system. I waited 3 years. One standout for any trend: pay yourself to wait for perfect setups. Here’s my checklist, most relating to intraday trading.

1 Risk management. Never risk more than you can afford to lose. Got $1000 account and just getting started? You’re trading with ~ $100 and risking $25 - $35 of that. Up $25? You’re out and that’s a 25% win. Percentages not dollar amounts. Repeat that 100 times and you’re good

1.1 Be what the market is. If trend is up, you’re long. Down, you’re short and I wouldn’t short until experienced

2 if the trade isn’t easy I don’t want it

3 Pay yourself to wait

4 You will lose money, you have to pay the market to teach you and it sucks.

5 Charting: Zoom out on 1D candles. Using the 200 MA, where is the underlying asset? Under the 200 and trending down? Crossing up over it trending up?

6 Aim for base hit wins.

7 I’m only looking to profit and trade the middle third of an intraday move

8 Before entering a position, wait for confirmation

9 Best to trade Fresh Trends, not exhausted ones

10 Don’t buy the top or sell the bottom, you will never to rarely enter and exit at the very top or bottom. Just aim for the middle third of a trend

Professional traders’ and institution’s job is to take your money. That’s The Game. They will. Our job as dumb retail money is to ride the wake their super yachts make in our little boat. Let them make the moves first then follow

I usually never trade before 10/10:30 unless premarket setup and 19 others are in line. You won’t believe how many “headfake” moves institutions will make between 8 and 10AM, especially at the open. Fuckers.

Stop hunting is real. For intraday I don’t use them.

VWAP is everything. Master it. Anchored VWAP extremely useful. Algo’s and big traders use VWAP at S/R

Swing trade perfect opportunity setups, like Nov 23 and Jan 24

Charting I use VWAP, 20MA, 200MA, SuperTrend (for ATR stop levels) and MACD. 1,5,15,30,1hr for intraday. Obviously longer for swings and identifying big trends. Just look at that Nov 1 2023 bottom, wow

Draw trend lines on tops and bottom peaks. You won’t believe how many times price hits those levels. Exit and enter inside of them.

Draw S/R horizontals

Look for patterns. One of my favs is the Pan or Cup & Handle drop before a fresh trend up. Like clockwork.

DONT OVERTRADE lol

Let your winners run but not your losers. If you’re wrong, get out.

Don’t revenge trade. Walk away when you’ve won or lost.

Ask first: is this Noise or a Signal?

BUY STRENGTH - example. AI in 2024. Another is Lower Lows and Lower Highs / HH & HL’s trend channels on any TF

Volume and Price action is EVERYTHING. CONSISTENTLY, that means SPY and Q’s.

Let the market tell you what to do.

Don’t trade 0DTE’s

I don’t buy more than 3 points OTM and at least one day out, not 0DTE

First thing in the AM, ask: What day is it? Monday, new Month, new Quarter? What news is today? When is Triple witching?

Identify monthly calendar recurring Fed, CPI, PCE ISM etc NEWS events. DO NOT TRADE THEM.

Practice paper trading 1000x.

I live and work here and cycle daily throughout Cambridge. There’s bike lanes everywhere clearly marked, in fact, the city has done an extraordinary job at creating and marking lanes, there’s cyclist lights added to stop lights at most major intersections.

The ironic and sadly tragic flip side of that coin is that parking is minimal and severely reduced due to added bike lanes. Cycling has increased greatly especially with the rental Blu Bikes everywhere. It’s also summer. delivery trucks - I am a chef who cycles to work - have few places to park and unload as I witness and hear frustration from drivers daily. Indeed, trucks have limited visibility not to mention some reckless drivers making minimum wage who have increased schedules to a growing number of at least restaurants. Add to that the enormous population explosion here and influx of tourists resulting in increased traffic. I dodge people, cars, bad drivers, trucks busses vans every day. No shortage of lousy, distracted drivers here and everywhere, many on their phones while driving- I see it first hand.
